Job Description – Project Planner (Green Hydrogen)
Context
In the context of the energy transition and the development of innovative solutions for the production and distribution of green hydrogen, we are looking for a Project Planner to optimize the management and monitoring of schedules for strategic projects.
Main Responsibilities (under the supervision of the Project Manager):
🔹 Planning Development and Management
• Develop, structure, and maintain project schedules, incorporating the various phases (engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, etc.).
• Ensure consistency between the overall project schedule and the detailed schedules of the different stakeholders.
• Update and adjust schedules based on project developments and unforeseen events.
🔹 Deadline Monitoring and Tracking
• Identify discrepancies between actual progress and the planned schedule; propose corrective actions.
• Monitor the progress of all activities and anticipate risks of delays and critical issues.
• Provide the project teams with clear visibility on timelines and constraints.
🔹 Coordination and Communication
• Ensure effective communication between the various project stakeholders (engineering, procurement, manufacturing, clients, subcontractors, etc.).
• Participate in follow-up meetings and draft progress and project reports.
• Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve schedule conflicts.
🔹 Tools and Continuous Improvement
• Use and optimize planning tools (MS Project, SAP, etc.).
• Contribute to improving scheduling methodologies and processes.
• Capitalize on lessons learned to enhance the efficiency of future projects.
Profile Required
• 🎓 Degree in a technical field, engineering, or project management.
• 🏗️ Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in planning industrial projects. Experience in the energy or oil & gas sectors is a plus.
• 🖥️ Proficiency in scheduling software (MS Project, SAP) and reporting tools.
• 🌍 Minimum B2 level in English; another language is a plus.
• 🚀 Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, anticipation, and team spirit.
• ✈️ Willingness to travel occasionally depending on project needs.
