Hydrogen-related activities are organized within a subsidiary called "John Cockerill Hydrogen". This entity benefits from:
- Its current position as world leader in the manufacture of electrolysers, with over 25 years' experience,
- A complete range of integrated solutions for hydrogen production and refueling stations,
- Production capacity in Asia and Europe,
- An integrated test laboratory for key electrolysers components.
In order to reinforce our Hydrogen Sector, John Cockerill is looking for a Project Manager for its electrolysers development activity.
Mission & Scope
The Project Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects in progress. They manage several projects simultaneously in industrial fields.
Depending on the scale of the project, he or she may rely on in-house resources (design office, purchasing department, quality department, site supervision, etc.) to ensure that the project runs smoothly, but may also carry out some of the tasks himself or herself.
The main objectives of the job are to ensure that results are in line with budgets and profitability, to meet deadlines and to satisfy customers; in all cases, defending the interests of John Cockerill.
He ensures the application, within projects and teams, of the Occupational Health & Safety policy with the integration of safety aspects, quality and environmental standards.
Main Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will have the following roles and responsibilities:
- Define the project framework, including the identification of external and internal partners.
- Organize and conduct meetings with customers, partners and subcontractors and define appropriate communication channels.
- Maintain commercial relations with the customer, from project acknowledgement to final acceptance of the installation.
- Supervise and coordinate project teams, and if necessary, delve into the technical aspects of the project with collaborate.
- Manage contractual, administrative, and financial aspects of projects (including amendments and quarterly budget reviews)
- Provide customers with documentation on all aspects of the project, ensuring completeness and consistency of information provided.
- Participate in the definition and implementation of work processes and tools for your department.
Profile
The ideal candidate for the Project Manager position has the following profile:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in chemical, electromechanical, automation or other related majors,
- More than 5 years' professional experience in non-standard equipment project management,
- Relevant experience in gas equipment manufacturing is a strong asset,
- Proficiency in project management knowledge and project management system,
- Good command of English, which is the working language,
- Ability to manage goals, understand goals accurately, decompose goals, find suitable paths and scientific methods to solve practical problems,
- Skills to balance the conflict of resources between multiple projects and their interests.
- Teamwork spirit, strong learning faculty and active learning awareness.
