Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
Learn and follow all ISO processes and procedures |
Communicate effectively within a project team across multiple disciplines |
Compose technical specifications for equipment |
Create requisition packages for procurement |
Log project communication per company |
Create single line diagrams, motor control schematics, power control schematics, electrical cabinet detail design, electrical device lists, to/from wire lists, conduit layouts, and cable tray layouts |
Ensure the quality of electrical drawings and engineering are in accordance with design and company standards |
Complete electrical engineering calculations using tools provided |
Complete material and energy balances |
Size and select electrical engineering components |
Complete assigned tasks on schedule |
Participate in client and vendor meetings, create meeting minutes and action item lists |
Coordinate with purchasing to resolve technical issues |
Coordinate with shop to resolve assembly/manufacturing issues |
Coordinate with field services to resolve field issues |
Provide technical direction to assigned designers |
Compose design plans for assigned designers |
Design projects to budget (material/hours) |
Review requisition packages of designers before issuing |
Plan/schedule tasks to be completed |
Report status on activities, tasks, projects and goals |
Travel - domestically |
Compose project manuals and other documentation |
Estimate durations of work to be completed |
Makes decisions independently as well as in a team environment |
Develop budget (material/hours) for projects |
Approves transmitting of documents |
Technically audit quotes from suppliers |
Execute projects per contract, and submit engineering change requests when necessary |
Follow-up on activities/tasks you assign to others |
Review/maintain scope of supply and scope of work for project |
Approve component selections of less experienced engineers |
Own the inputs to your work |
Compose project drawing and document lists |
Review/check project manuals and documentation |

Ensure timely feedback to product line management |

Assist with field commissioning and site follow-up |
Review/create process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID's) and logic |
Create/review PLC programming to suit equipment functionality |
Create/review HMI programming to suit project requirements |

Analyze and solve technical problems and provide solutions that can be |

Carry out technical risk analysis on designs |
