Are you an experienced sales professional with a strong technical background? Do you thrive in an international environment and enjoy building long-term partnerships? John Cockerill Hamon is looking for an International Area Sales Manager to expand our presence across Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As an International Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing a profitable and sustainable sales network for our Field-Erected Cooling Towers and Air-Cooled Condensers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Business Development & Sales Strategy

    • Identify and pursue business opportunities in industrial projects (Energy, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, etc.).

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, EPC contractors, and engineering firms.

    • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.

    • Propose and execute marketing strategies to strengthen our market positioning.

  • Technical & Commercial Expertise

    • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, proposals, legal, finance) to develop tailored solutions for clients.

    • Analyze project requirements and prepare competitive proposals.

    • Participate in technical and commercial bid clarification meetings until contract signature.

  • Market Intelligence & Customer Engagement

    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt our commercial approach.

    • Ensure regular client follow-ups and maintain a strong presence in the field.

    • Travel internationally (approx. 1 week per month) to meet clients and drive business opportunities.

Your Profile

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven professional with:

  • A degree in engineering and 5 to 10 years of experience in international sales or business development, preferably in the industrial, energy, or oil & gas sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of the European, African, or Asian markets and a solid network in the industry.

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and seize business opportunities.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Fluency in English is essential; French or Arabic is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
