PMO - Contract & Claim Manager

Location: Mumbai

Job Purpose

• Manage the activities of PMO from Presales to Execution End on Contract & Claim Management to protect John Cockerill interests.

Key Result Areas

• Support the performance and secure risks on projects (presales & execution) according to Project Classification throughout the value chain.
• Develop, share and promote comprehensive processes, methods, and tools into common Integrated Management System.
• Support the entities to achieve their operational objectives.
• Continuously improve operational efficiency of the business
• Develop in line with other businesses of the Group, skills referential of PMO disciplines and develop associated training.

Key Responsibilities

• Able to write down the Contractual correspondence both in French and English
• Support Proposal on contract analysis and negotiation.
• Support Execution on contract administration (customer + suppliers) & Claim management.
• Support the business for any legal issue in coordination with Commercial & Legal department of the Group. 
• Train teams in administration of contracts, promote best practices, assist in claim preparation.
• Promote tools for contract administration: Scope of work, RASCI matrix, deviation list, MCPR, schedule, MOM, Master document list, Schedule, notification, …)
• Meet customers, partners, and suppliers with project teams to secure conditions, margin, and cash collection.
• Develop and maintain a network of outsourced resources who can support, advise or join John Cockerill business.
• When required, support local representatives, coach project teams, be involved in negotiations with clients and partners, cash collection.
• Work in close connection and share the information with all members of PMO/SERM to achieve the objectives of the department.
• Ready to travel worldwide upon request.

Qualification and Experience

• The candidate should be from any Engineering background.
• 10 to 15 years of experience.
• Candidate worked in multinational company will be an added advantage.
