Job Purpose

Key Result Areas

  1. Manage the site organization of the works from Kick Off Meeting on site till Provisional acceptance
  2. Works on site performed with required quality level, according to design documentation
  3. Elaborate and respecting the erection planning (3 months, 1month and weekly)
  4. Respect the HSE plan, with objective of no accident, no injuries, reporting the defined HSE KPI and major events
    1. Analyze HSE plan of all John Cockerill H2’ stake holders and insure it is in line with JCH2 HSE plan.
    2. Handle the Safety induction training for all newcomers on site.
    3. Daily toolbox meeting:
      1. Remind main risks on site
      2. Coactivity’s works for each zone
      3. Organize the required Consignments, Loto (Lock out Tag out) for all utilities
      4. Check that right PPE’s are used for appropriate works
      5. Analyze possible pollution risks, hazardous products,
    4. Prepare the required work permits (hot works, consignments, …)
    5. Insure heavy / high lifting activities are well documented and organized with presence of experienced/trained operators and rigger.
    6. Safety inspections
    7. Coordination with Local safety officer to report all HSE events

 

  1. Support, control the organization of visits on site:
    1. insuring IP protection and safety
    2. Presentation of status (External Communication to be prepared by Management / PM / Sales)
  2. Kick-off meeting with all stake holders, subcontractors
  3. Organize the reception of deliveries on site and keep an updated inventory of received goods/ tools, spares parts (for JCH2 and specifically for all sub-contractors)
  4. Monitor progress of the works, people presence, site expenses: advise for necessary actions / solutions to keep planning and budget on track
  5. Validation of subcontractors weekly site progress works
  6. Coordination with other stake holders to prepare and define the appropriate steps of the works to have an overall efficiency of the activities (understanding the complete interfaces between sub-systems)
  7. Organize, Support the QC team for quality inspections
  8. Organize, support the commissioning team including all external / internal stake holders:
    1. Keep, anticipate site conditions, commodities to receive the amount of people on site
    2. Availability of all required utilities
    3. Organization of required Loto
    4. Reporting, progress of QC and / or commissioning
  9. Organize the third parties’ certifications for all activities in accordance with the ITP
  10. Organize Atex audit with specialized third party with support of EIA supervisor
  11. Reporting of possible NCRs (with possible application available on site)
  12. Reporting of REX propositions
  13. Keep updated documentation on site (at least with as-built hand marked)
  14. Reporting and follow up of Punch lists per zone, disciplines, sub-contractors. (with possible application available on site)
  15. Keep daily logbook updated and signed by all involved parties

 

Main Skills - Experience:

  • At least 25 years with BE degree in industrial EPC projects in Oil & Gas
  • Willing to locate close to the site (Kakinada or NRL) till end of the project (return maximum every 3 months)
  • MS project
  • Safety training - certification
  • Good knowledge of the main EPC contractors in India.
  • Experience with European companies is a plus
  • Experience with Chinese companies is a plus
  • For site director:
    • management of projects > 50 M€
    • having managed a pool of people / subcontractors: total  > 50 people
    • Joining the hiring process for the overall site team
