Location - Mumbai, India

Job Purpose:

Technical Supervision of the Project site making sure activities are performed in a Safe manner, within budget and on time.

He has to liaison with various stakeholders to ensure project site activity is on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Study Technical Contracts to understand the Project requirements and to raise query in case of any observation
• Preparation of Erection and Commissioning schedule
• Preparation of Mechanical Erection Manual
• Collection of all documents required for site execution
• Study of documents to have better understanding and preparation before leaving to site
• Open Package Inspection at site  & feedback on short supplies and requirements of materials to Site Manager.
• Start Mechanical Erection as per E&C schedule.
• See the completion of equipment erection and commissioning and to prepare Protocol of erection / commissioning.
• Report to Site Manager about any discrepancies in erection / commissioning for requirement of manpower / material.
• Give site feedback for improvement.
• Co-ordinate with sub- contractors/ third parties  in case of any discrepancies and to ensure timely execution of site activities .
• Completion of PAT and FAT
• Site closure as per the contractual obligation

Education & Experience

• The candidate should be from Engineering background with Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering with more than 10-15 years of experience in Steel Industry.

Background, Skills and Competencies

• He should be from Steel Industry and in particular from Flat Product in Cold Rolling Division like 6 Hi Cold Rolling Mill, CGL /CCL /CAL /PPL /ECL
• Should be able to handle Technical Supervision independently.   
• Must have Knowledge of Measuring Tools used at Erection Sites
• Knowledge of Auto Cad , Navisworks and msp is must
• Must be able to prepare various reports in ms office.
• Strong Analytical and Presentation Skill
• Added advantage for exposure in Utilities commissioning including Hydraulics System
