Purpose
• To manage Planning activities for projects related to Mfg. & execution.


2. Key Result Area
• Able to plan various manufacturing processes to meet manufacturing & dispatch schedules as per contractual obligations.
• Able to create RFQ after proper drawing study and technical requirements as per QAP.
• Able to monitor and track project progress and major milestones.


3. Key Responsibilities
• Planning & execution of various Mfg. activities, for a project related to steel plant equipment manufacturing.
• Drawing study for understanding various Mfg. processes & related technical requirements.
• Carrying out various SAP functions related to procurement & production planning (MM/PP modules).
• Preparation of RFQ for procurement of various Mfg. components (Fabricated, Machined components).
• Co-ordinating with concern departments or agencies for resolving technical problem or doubts during order execution.
• Monitoring & Tracking of different manufacturing activities like Fabrication, Procurement, Machining, Assembly and Dispatch on a periodic basis.
• Coordination with various functions or departments like Purchase/Projects/Design/Production etc. 


4. Qualification and Experience
The candidate should be an
• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university with 10 – 15 years’ experience in Mfg. planning & execution of heavy machine building industry, preferably steel plant equipment OEM.


5. Technical Competencies
• Good knowledge of various manufacturing processes of engineering industry.
• Good knowledge of machine drawings and technical specifications.
• Hands on experience in SAP (MM/PP) functionalities.


6. Other Competencies
• Good Communication Skills
• Interpersonal Skills & ability to Lead a small Team.
• Ability to Plan & Lead Mfg. activities for a large-scale Project execution.
• Good working knowledge of MS office.
