Dispatch Manager - Taloja Workshop

1. Job Purpose
   • To manage Dispatch activities.

2. Key Result Area
   • Execute Dispatch activities through effective planning of packaging & logistics to ensure timely and safe delivery of Finish Goods to the Customer site.
   • Ensure correct and safe packaging of the Finish Goods to avoid site complaints.
   • Ensure optimum utilization of transportation to reduce transportation cost.
   • Ensure reduction in packaging cost by exploring and adapting new & advanced packaging techniques.

3. Key Responsibilities
   • Preparation of Dispatch documents like invoice , delivery challan, packing list etc. for Domestic as well as Export Projects.
   • Ensure timely & cost effective packaging through proper planning and load distribution of packaging load among in-house packing contractors.
   • Ensuring proper co-ordination with the transport contractors for timely arrangement of logistics for on-time delivery of Finish goods to the customer.
   • Ensure proper vehicle load plan to optimize transportation cost.
   • Ensure correct and safe packing of the finish goods to avoid site complaints.
   • Ensure optimum utilization of available resources through proper man power & resource planning.
   • Prepare Monthly Dispatch plan, daily / monthly dispatch report .Maintain advance licence material inward and outward record.
   • Ensure safety and house-keeping being maintained in the department all the time.
   • Handle various audits like ISO9001 and Stock audits.

4. Qualification and Experience

The candidate should be an

• • Graduate in Commerce with 8 – 10 years’ experience in Dispatch Department in large engineering & heavy engineering industry preferred.
  • Operating, and hands on experience in SAP candidates are preferred.
  • Good computer knowledge in latest advanced version of MS OFFICE.

5. Technical Competencies

• • Thorough Knowledge of Domestic ,Export invoicing and GST.
  • Thorough knowledge of packaging & logistics.
