Job Purpose

Key Result Areas

  1. Support the site organization of MEP works
  2. Supervise the MEP works
  3. Works on site performed with required quality level, according to design documentation
  4. Support and follow up the erection planning (1month, weekly, daily)
  5. Respect the HSE plan, with objective of no accident, no injuries, reporting the defined HSE KPI and major events
    1. Analyze HSE plan of MEP sub-contractors and insure it is in line with JCH2 HSE plan.
    2. Join – support Daily toolbox meeting:
      1. Coactivity’s works for each zone
      2. Support the required Consignments, Loto (Lock out Tag out) for all utilities
      3. Check that right PPE’s are used for appropriate works
      4. Analyze possible pollution risks, hazardous products,
    3. Support preparation of required work permits (hot works, consignments, …)
    4. Safety inspections
    5. Report HSE events

 

  1. Join Kick-off meeting with MEP subcontractors
  2. Support for keeping updated inventory of received goods/ tools, spares parts (for JCH2 and specifically for MEP sub-contractors)
  3. Monitor progress of the MEP works, people presence, site expenses
  4. Validation of MEP subcontractors weekly site progress works
  5. Coordination with other stake holders to prepare and define the appropriate steps of MEP works to have an overall efficiency of the activities
  6. Organize, Support the QC team for quality inspections of MEP works (according to ITP)
    1. Support for availability of all required utilities
    2. Support required Loto
    3. Reporting, progress of QC for MEP activities

 

  1. Support the third parties’ certifications for MEP activities in accordance with the ITP

 

  1. Reporting of possible NCRs related to MEP works (with possible application available on site)
  2. Reporting of REX propositions
  3. Keep updated documentation on site (at least with as-built hand marked)
  4. Reporting and follow up of Punch lists for MEP works. (with possible application available on site)
  5. Fill daily logbook related to MEP activities.

Education & Work Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience (BE Mechanical) for industrial EPC projects in Oil & Gas
  • Willing to locate close to the site (Kakinada or NRL) till end of the project (return maximum every 3 months)
  • MS project
  • Safety training - certification
  • Able to prepare procedure for heavy lifting, rigging, steel structure installation,
  • Skid assembly follow-up
  • Flanges / gaskets installation – torquing experience - training
  • Understanding the welding certification process: PED – ASME
  • Process knowledge – able to read P&ID
  • ATEX certification / training is a plus
  • Experience with European companies is a plus
  • Experience with Chinese companies is a plus
