Job Purpose: 

Site engineer for Furnace equipment Erection & Commissioning

 

  1. Key Result Area
  • Timely commissioning of ARP equipment
  • Training to working Team members on Furnace Operational aspects
  • REX document on Furnace site executed.
  • Learn on CGL / CAL Furnace commissioning.
  • Participate on SIT with E&A supplier, preparation of Functional Description & Commissioning as well as PG test protocols

 

  1. Key Responsibilities
  • To Ensure adherence of Site Safety Requirements.
  • Study Technical Contract to understand the Project requirements and raise query timely  
  • Preparation of Erection and Commissioning schedule as needed.
  • Preparation of Mechanical Erection Manual as needed.
  • Study & Collection of documents for better understanding and preparation before leaving to site.
  • Open Package Inspection at site & feedback on short supplies and requirements of materials to Site Manager.
  • Prepare equipment erection and commissioning Protocols during erection / commissioning.
  • Prepare Commissioning Protocol as well as PG test Protocol
  • Participate on site internal / customer meetings as needed
  • Report to Site Manager about any discrepancies in erection / commissioning for requirement of manpower / material.
  • Update the Site reports on Teams / PACE / Project documentation.
  • Give site feedback for improvement.
  • Coordinate with Project, design department & customer for erection & commissioning activities to complete project on time Co-ordinate with sub- contractors/ third parties in case of any discrepancies and to ensure timely execution of site activities.
  • Completion of PAT and FAT
  • Site closure as per the contractual obligation
  • To prepare and send all site reports to HO.

 

  1. Education
  • Engineering Graduate with 15+ years experience preferred.
  • Else Diploma Engineer with 20+ experience

  • Maintain professional relations & harmony with Site team as well as customer representatives.
  • Follow the Site Manager guidelines for working at site.
