Job Purpose


 Supervising & improving production at plant.
 Support production teams, maintain safety protocols, report issues to managers & develop strategies to improve efficiency.


2. Key Result Area


 Maintaining quality and safety standards with On time Delivery, keeping records and maintaining equipment.


3. Key Responsibilities


 Engineering drawing knowledge & study.
 Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
 Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs & labor required.
 Diagnosing problems in production & providing recommendations & training.
 Establishing safety procedures & protocols that take the worker’s wellbeing into account & that also minimize the carbon footprint.
 Keeping abreast of advancement in engineering & production & sharing knowledge with co-workers.
 Scheduling meetings with relevant departments & stakeholders.
 Analyzing all facets of production & making recommendations for improvement.
 Obtaining any materials & equipment required.
 Ensures compliance to quality, safety & environmental standards as per ISO9001.


4. Qualification, Experience & Skills


 Bachelor of Mechanical engineering.
 Proven experience of 5 to 6 years in mechanical engineering field.
 Sound knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic & lubrication piping.
 5S & visual management, standardized work, Value stream mapping (VSM). Root cause Analysis (RCA). Problem solving & Decision Making.
 Proficiency in MS Office.
 Strong leadership abilities.
 Superb written & verbal communication skills.
