The opportunity

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager, with the objective of expanding and strengthening the Sales Department of the Energy Cooling Division *Air-Cooled Condensers Area*, in the Spanish subsidiary, reporting to the Commercial Director.

Mission

  • Assume commercial responsibility for Air Cooled Condensers (ACC) and Cooling Tower proposals, at customers located in your geographic allocation territory, including negotiation through to project award.

  • Develop business opportunities that are identified in your assigned geographic territory, as well as responsibility for negotiating.

  • Assume responsibility in the negotiation of commercial offers in execution, in close collaboration with the assigned Proposal Manager.

Main Responsibilities

  •  Lead the offers strategy, in close collaboration with the proposal manager as well as the decision to offer or not to offer on a given business opportunity.
  • Manage the commercial, contractual, insurance, financial aspects of the offer phase in coordination with the respective departments.

  • Gather and manage the key information and value of a given business opportunity, in permanent contact with the client and its transmission in a timely manner to the Commercial Management for decision making.

  • Contribute to internal contract review and negotiation with the client.

  • Visit assigned customers in your geographical catchment area to advocate offers and promote the John Cockerill Hamon brand and product portfolio.

  • Develop a network within customers and suppliers for current and future business opportunities.

  • Be responsible for briefing and defending assigned proposals to the John Cockerill Committee prior to bid presentation to the customer.

  • Maintain the commercial CRM up to date at all times to facilitate decision making by Commercial Management.

  • Manage with third parties in order to increase the company's business possibilities.

  • Elaborate and follow up the assigned budget with periodical reviews with the Commercial Management together with punctual action plans.

Profile Experience

  • Hold a university degree within chemical or energy engineering combined with minimum 7 years of relevant commercial experience in commercial department of business development and offers.

  • Elaboration of technical-commercial proposals in an engineering or EPC company, preferably with power plant equipment in the Energy and/or Oil & Gas sector.

  • Proficiency in English mandatory.

  • Proficiency in French is an asset.

  • Proficiency in modern IT tools, including Microsoft 365, Excel_macros…
