🛠Your Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

 

 

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will manage technical projects from concept to completion, lead a team of designers, and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure product excellence.

 

 

📋 Key Responsibilities:

 

 

Project Management:

  • Oversee a specific project module, including planning, reporting, BOM (Bill of Material) updates, and scheduling.
  • Manage a team of 3-5 designers using CATIA V5/V6.

 

Product Development:

  • Conduct research, theoretical and technical studies.
  • Supervise calculations and specialized studies.
  • Adapt existing designs and develop equipment specifications.
  • Coordinate internal and external design activities and lead design reviews.
  • Ensure successful prototype development and testing.

 

Technical Support:

  • Act as an expert for procurement, industrialization, and quality teams.
  • Resolve technical issues during warranty periods.
  • Prepare technical files for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Participate in meetings with suppliers and external partners.

 

 


 

👥 Your Team

 

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and specialists in defense systems, working together to develop and improve turret systems and mechanical innovations.

 

 


 

🧩 Your Profile

 

📚 Experience, Knowledge, and Hard Skills:

 

 

 

Education:  Engineer Degree in mechanical-industrial engineering or equivalent.

 

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and project management.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 (3D Experience is a plus).

 

 

Skills:

  • Expertise in mechanical systems, structural design, and functional tolerances.
  • Knowledge of materials (e.g., aluminum, steel) and processes such as welding and machining.
  • Strong understanding of BOM (Bill of Material) structuring and manufacturing methodologies.

 

 

Languages: Fluent in French, with professional proficiency in English for technical documentation and communication.
