Nature & Scope

Within the R&D unit of the technical department in the Hydrogen Business Line, you contribute to the development of innovative solutions in line with the product and technology roadmaps. More specifically, this hands-on position offers the opportunity to operate top-notch test facilities and to impact product performance, reliability, and durability.


Main Duties

  • With support from the technical department, you are in charge of the test benches located in a research center facility.
  • You take part in the definition and planning of test campaigns to qualify new developments.
  • You centralize test demands from different design and research teams and participate in fulfilling their needs with the most suitable test solutions.
  • You are responsible for documenting test campaigns, including test plans, test protocols, and test reports.
  • You supervise test campaigns, collect and process data, contribute to analyses, and write reports according to the company’s procedures to ensure test quality and repeatability.
  • You participate in reporting sessions with the technical team and management.
  • You perform Root Cause Analysis/Failure Mode Analysis and recommend actions to improve product design.
  • You contribute to the analysis of lessons learned from past projects.

Skills

  • Analytical, team player, problem-solver, hands-on, and autonomous.
  • Willing to solve complex multiphysics problems.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Failure mode analysis, verification, and validation management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data processing tools (R, MATLAB, Octave) is an asset.

Profile

  • BSc/MSc in mechanical, electrical, chemical, process, bio-sciences, physics, or aerospace engineering.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a technical test engineering position in industry/lab or 5 years in a technical engineering position in industry.
  • Prior experience in a similar position within the fuel cell and hydrogen industry is a strong asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written command of French.
  • Good level of English.
  • Curious and eager to learn and explore new technology domains.
