John Cockerill Hydrogen has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing electrolysers and integrated hydrogen systems. We specialize in large-scale projects valued between €40 million and €100 million. With two gigafactories in France and China and a dedicated team of 300 professionals, we are accelerating our growth with multiple new projects.
⚙️ Your role: Stack Technical Interface
As a Stack Technical Interface, you will be the first point of contact for our internal execution and sales teams in order to answer any technical questions regarding our stack products.
📋 Key responsibilities:
- Technical Interface: Be the main point of contact for product-related inquiries. Respond to technical questions or work with Technical Project Managers to find answers. Interlocutors are sales (proposal) and execution projects which will use our stack product in their projects.
- Product Monitoring: Understand the product in detail, stay updated on its development, and track performance.
- Product customization: Manage product differentiations and associated documents following customer needs as for example: layout, general arrangement, transport, packaging, and commissioning.
- Communication & Collaboration: Provide clear communication with internal and external teams, adapting materials to audience needs (internal stakeholders, external clients). Participate in client meetings and share feedback.
- Learning & Development: Learn through hands-on experience in collaboration with Technical Project Managers and the design team. Visit production sites to observe real-world applications of the products.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor product performance and address client inquiries.

👥 Your team
You will work in an agile, multicultural team with members from various disciplines, including product design, manufacturing and industrial, procurement and supply chain, safety, testing and validation, quality and finance. The environment is collaborative, offering the perfect balance of autonomy and support.
You’ll report to Michel Arnalsteen, Stack Product Manager. Michel is a proactive manager who is committed to the success of his team. He encourages a collaborative approach, ensuring you have the freedom to lead while receiving guidance when necessary.
🧠 Your profile
Experience, knowledge, and hard skills:
- Engineering degree or above in mechanics, mechatronics, electromechanics, or related fields.
- At least one or two years of experience in product development in industrial environment.
- Strong command of English and French.
- Strong understanding of product operation, manufacturing, and performance.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, layout plans, and understand product specifications.
Personality and behavioural skills:
- Strong ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and find solutions independently.
- Process oriented to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Affinity with international environments
- Technical curiosity and the willingness to understand the product and its surrounding environment.
- Communication, openness, and assertiveness to foster collaboration.
- Organization and rigor to maintain project excellence.
