We specialize in large-scale projects valued between €40 million and €100 million. With two gigafactories in France and China and a dedicated team of 300 professionals, we are accelerating our growth with multiple new projects.
⚙️ Your role: Stack Design Manager
As a Stack Design Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of the team’s objectives by establishing a solid design process, promoting the development of the stack in a competitive environment. He/She must provide the team with the tools, expertise, and resources needed to excel, while creating a work environment that fosters innovation and collaboration.
📋 Key responsibilities:
- Be a technical referent, providing expertise and guiding team members in carrying out their own tasks
- Ensure that the developed product is industrializable by closely coordinating with the relevant teams throughout the development process.
- Participate in the creation of the roadmap, contributing innovative ideas to evolve the products based on market needs, expected performance, or industrialization tools
- Be responsible for organizing design reviews in collaboration with the manufacturing, R&D, quality, and industrialization teams
- Be a hands-on manager and define the objectives, tasks, and priorities of team members.

👥 Your team
You will be responsible for a team of 5 design engineers. This dynamic and experienced team is known for its flexibility, autonomy, and collaborative spirit. You’ll lead a group where each member brings complementary skills, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
You’ll report to Michel Arnalsteen, Stack Product Manager. Michel is a proactive manager who is committed to the success of his team. He encourages a collaborative approach, ensuring you have the freedom to lead while receiving guidance when necessary.
🧠 Your profile
Experience, knowledge, and hard skills:
- Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, with a specialization in materials, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, or thermal engineering.
- Significant experience in mass production industries with 5 years of experience as a leader of a design office, or 10 years of experience as an expert within a design office
- Knowledge and expertise in the following areas: mechanical design, machining, manufacturing and assembly of mechanical parts, pressure equipment, finite element analysis (FEA), CFD calculations, and surface treatments.
- Professional experience related to the following activities: quality, compliance analysis, certification, specification writing, and risk analysis.
- Strong command of English and French.
