🛠️ Your Role: Senior Project Cost Controller
As Senior Project Cost Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial health of major projects, ensuring accurate cost tracking, reporting, and compliance with financial objectives. Reporting to the Chief Project Officer, you will contribute to building and structuring a world-class project controlling team.
📋 Key Responsibilities:
- Project Cost Management:
- Monitor and control project budgets, including costs related to subcontractors, procurement, and logistics.
- Identify risks related to penalties, scope variations, and currency fluctuations, and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, payment schedules, and cost optimization objectives.
- Reporting and Governance:
- Develop and implement project cost reporting tools and methodologies.
- Provide accurate financial reports to stakeholders, including project progress, risk assessments, and P&L performance.
- Establish governance frameworks to streamline cost management across global projects.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure alignment on financial goals.
- Interface with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to manage invoicing, payments, and financial negotiations.
- Team Development:
- Support the establishment of a dedicated project controlling team, mentoring junior controllers and standardizing best practices.
- Work closely with global teams to align processes and ensure consistency.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of project managers, engineers, and finance professionals, all working toward the successful delivery of complex projects. Reporting to the Chief Project Officer, you will also work with a global pool of project controllers.
🧩 Your Profile
📚 Experience, Knowledge, and Hard Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project controlling, cost management, or financial planning, ideally in large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong experience in supplier-driven industries such as construction, EPC, HVAC, or energy.
- Expertise in cost tracking tools, project management methodologies, and risk analysis.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or other languages is a strong asset.
