As part of our growth and industrial project expansion, we are strengthening our procurement and delivery organization to support complex, international, and large-scale industrial projects.

 

Your New Role

As Procurement & Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in structuring, managing, and driving the execution of procurement, expediting, and logistics activities for customer projects and industrial plants.

This is a senior management role, focused on team leadership, process structuring, prioritization, and delivery performance, rather than hands-on buying. You will act as the local representative of the delivery organization, working in close collaboration with engineering, construction, project management, and production teams.

You will join a dynamic and international environment, where collaboration, operational excellence, and clear execution priorities are critical to success.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Delivery & Procurement Leadership

  • Drive and coordinate procurement, expediting, and logistics execution in line with project and industrial requirements.
  • Ensure on-time, on-quality, and on-budget delivery of materials and services.
  • Support project teams and industrial plants in the early identification and mitigation of supply chain risks.
  • Act as a key interface between procurement execution and engineering, construction, and project management functions.

 

Team Management & Organization

  • Lead and manage a team of Project Procurement & Logistics Managers (PPLM), Buyers, Expeditors, and Logistics Specialists, located in Belgium and France.
  • Manage a team of 7–10 professionals, motivated and autonomous, while continuing to foster growth in accountability, collaboration, and ownership.
  • Drive performance through clear priorities, KPIs, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure effective workload distribution and alignment with project priorities.

 

Process, Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Structure, standardize, and improve procurement and delivery processes, methodologies, and ways of working.
  • Identify process gaps and implement pragmatic improvement actions.
  • Ensure strong governance, reporting, and administrative discipline across procurement and delivery activities.

 

Supplier & Contract Execution Oversight

  • Ensure supplier contract compliance during execution, in coordination with Global Category Managers.
  • Participate in supplier negotiations related to execution topics when required.
  • Monitor supplier production progress, adherence to Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and contractual delivery milestones.
  • Proactively address performance issues to avoid production or delivery disruptions.

 

Expediting & Logistics Coordination

  • Supervise expediting activities and real-time tracking of orders, inspections, and shipments.
  • Oversee international logistics operations, ensuring optimized transport flows and customs compliance.
  • Define and implement mitigation plans for delivery delays and coordinate claims resolution when needed.

 

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Construction, Project Management, Production, and Industrial teams.
  • Participate in governance meetings to report delivery performance, risks, and improvement actions.
  • Act as a local relay for the global delivery and procurement organization, with strong on-site presence.

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 7–10 years of experience in industrial procurement, delivery, or supply chain environments, including team management responsibilities.
  • Background in large-scale industrial, manufacturing, or project-based environments (EPC, heavy industry, energy, infrastructure, production).
  • Proven experience in managing procurement execution, logistics coordination, and supplier performance.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to structure, prioritize, and lead by exemple
  • Comfortable working in international and multicultural environments.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in SAP ERP, Microsoft Office tools, and logistics tracking systems.
  • Fluent in French and English (daily use; ability to switch naturally between both).

 

 

Additional Information

  • Strong on-site presence expected, particularly at Seraing.
  • Regular interaction with international stakeholders.
  • Periodic travels to Aspach (FR). (Every 2 months)
