Mission & Scope
The Deputy Project Manager provides support in the coordination and management of one or more projects with the main objectives of achieving results within budget, meeting deadlines, and satisfying customers. He/she will implement the Occupational Health and Safety policy within the project and for himself/herself, integrating safety aspects, quality, and environmental standards.
Main Responsibilities
• In coordination and under the supervision of a Project Manager, you will provide support in various essential aspects of our project management:
• Ensure the relationship with the customer from the signature of the contract to the final acceptance of the installation.
• Participate in the validation, with the pre-project team, of the main lines of the process implemented and verify its dimensioning.
• Coordinate the realization of the detailed studies (PID diagrams, layouts, guide drawings, various dimensions)
• To document the customer on all the desired aspects and to control the coherence of this information.
• Organize meetings with the customer, partners, and subcontractors.
• Participate in meetings and participate in the contract review.
• Participate in the drafting of specifications for the consultation of subcontractors (piping, GC, electricity)
• In a collegial manner with the buyer, participate in the choice of suppliers and subcontractors for your projects by ensuring the interests of the company and minimizing environmental impacts.
• Ensure that the installations carried out meet safety and environmental compliance obligations.
Profile
• Technical and/or commercial training (BAC+3)
• Fluent in French and English and possibly other languages
• You have a high level of energy and you are assertive
• Mastery of the Office suite (spreadsheet, graphics, macro) and usual project management software, knowledge of SAP is an asset.
• Autonomous
• Empathetic, team player, ability to communicate positively with teams and clients.
• Willing to travel occasionally, especially for international customer visits.
