⚙️ Your role: Instrumentation Engineer

 

As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for all instrumentation technical aspects of project execution, ensuring the precise measurement and control vital for our energy systems. You will also handle the low-voltage electrical aspects related to instrumentation integration. The role ensures the integration of safety, quality, and environmental standards while coordinating with clients and suppliers.


 

📋 Key responsibilities:

 

  • Realizing the instrument and I/O list based on P&IDs in close collaboration with our process department.

  • Writing comprehensive technical specifications for instrumentation and control systems to describe project requirements.

  • Managing the technical aspects of instrumentation and control integration from contract acquisition to site installation.

  • Engaging with the client on all instrumentation and low-voltage electrical technical aspects to ensure total client satisfaction.

  • Coordinating and planning tasks assigned to each contributor (both internal and external) related to instrumentation.

  • Monitoring and verifying instrumentation engineering, approving documents, and drawings.

  • Developing and maintaining expertise in industrial valves.


 

👥 Your team:

 

You will work in tandem with a drafter, but also in an agile, multicultural team with members from various disciplines. The environment is collaborative, offering the perfect balance of autonomy and support. You’ll report to Pierrick Walenciak, E&I Manager. Pierrick clearly communicates objectives and expectations. Within this defined framework, the team works as they see fit, with full autonomy, while receiving guidance when necessary.


 

🧠 Your profile:

 

 

Experience, knowledge, and hard skills:

 

  • Engineering degree or above specializing in instrumentation, industrial automation, or electricity.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial or Energy sector, with a strong focus on instrumentation.

  • Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs, automation architectures, and low-voltage electrical diagrams.

  • Expertise in instrumentation and a strong willingness to develop in-depth knowledge of industrial valves.

  • Strong command of English.

  • Organization and rigor to maintain project excellence.
