Context :

Sleti is a French company and leader in the business of the engineering, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of chelical and electrolytical surface treatment lines worldwide. Sleti makes part of the Surface Treatment Division of John Cockerill Group (www.johncockerill.com).

In order to reinforce its team, SLETI is looking for a Purchaser.

Missions : 

-    To source qualified vendors for various categories of equipment and services.
-    To coordinate the inquiry process.
-    To negotiate the terms and conditions.
-    To prepare the Purchase Orders.
-    To assure the follow-up of the vendors.
-    To participate to the development of a cost data base. 
-    To take in charge some estimates at sales stage.
-    To participate to the continuous improvement of our working procedures and tools.
-    To be a member of the Procurement Committee.
 

Profile :

-    Technical education. 
-    Working experience in purchasing in an industrial and international environment.
-    Experience in businesses similar to surface treatment, chemical or waste water treatment would be appreciated.
-    Proactive, autonomous, rigourous, solution oriented.
-    Fluent in French and English both oral and in written.

        - Standard components … based on catalog
    - Specific components … based on specification
    - Manufactured equipment … based on drawings
    - Services … based on scope of work 
    - Raw material, tools and consumables for workshop
 

•    Line management :
Head of Supply Chain.
 

•    Internal/external customers and interfaces : 
Mainly : Our Project Managers & Engineers, our Sales Engineers, from both our local and European entities, our vendors.
 

•    Mobility :
No frequent business trip is required for this function. Some business trips will be required to audit and to assure the follow-up of some vendors, but these trips can be planned and will be limited in time and frequency.
